SSG 200-180 (200kV, 180kJ)

[ Universal High Current Impulse Generator ]

For exponential current impulse ECI 1/20us, 4/10us, 8/20us and lightning current impulse LCI 10/350us applications with impulse current amplitude up to 200kA.

Used for quality control testing and type tests on SPD (Surge Protection Devices).

Installed at Shanghai Metrology Institute, China.

SSGA 100-150 (100kV, 150kJ)

[ Universal High Current Impulse test system ]

For exponential current impulse ECI 1/20us, 4/10us, 8/20us and rectangular current impulses (RCI) and operating duty testing with current amplitudes up to 100kA.

Used in R&D testing of metal oxide surge arrestors and arrestor sections according to IEC 60099-4 and ANSI/IEEE C 62.11.

Installed at CPRI, Bangalore, India.
